  1. Not sure if people saw this news or not, but the Minnesota Center for Photography, who has so graciously hosted our meetings, has shut down. The Star Tribune had an article about it. Bad news for a bunch of folks, and we're all sad to hear this I'm sure.

Jeff has some leads on future meeting locations. If anyone has any suggestions let us all know.

  2. Current discussion around new locations for the group to meet include:

    • Easel
    • Central Library in Downtown Minneapolis
    • MCAD

If you have feedback on any of these, or other suggestions, please share!

  3. It looks like there are many opportunities for meetings spaces in various Hennepin County Libraries if we need them.

We can pick from various libraries around the metro or there are options in the main library in downtown Minneapolis.

Some of these do have costs, but in the main library downtown it seems that often times the costs can be waived for the medium sized rooms.

  5. Jamie,
I'll talk with a friend of mine that owns one of the local photo studio rentals in town.
We have our asmp meetings there every once and a while. He's a big photoshop geek and may
be willing to let us meet there.
